Status of Women Canada Takes Action to Stop Violence Against Women and Girls

On February 11th 2015, The Honourable Dr. Kellie Leitch and the Honourable Kerry-Lynne D. Findlay invited organizations across Canada to propose new projects that will help end violence against women and girls, and announced $157,000 in Government of Canada support for EVA BC’s two year project “Improving Western Canada’s Response to Sexual Assault”.

We at EVA BC wish to express our profound gratitude to Minister Leitch, Status of Women Canada for the funding support that allows us to continue moving forward with constructive programming to improve service responses for women and girls who have experienced sexual violence.
