BREAKING: New Funding $10 Million to Community-Based Sexual Assault Programs

The Provincial Government announced this morning $10 million to support the delivery and co-ordinated emergency sexual assault response services in BC.

The Ending Violence Association of BC has received funding to administer this 3-year grant program, in collaboration with the Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General, the Ministry of Finance – Gender Equity Office, and the Minister’s Advisory Council on Indigenous Women (MACIW).

Thank you Government of British Columbia for supporting organizations that deliver community-based emergency sexual assault response services that are trauma informed and culturally appropriate, and helping to further the network of support for survivors.
