CFL Announces Policy on Violence Against Women

Canadian Football League Commissioner Jeffrey Orridge and EVA BC Executive Director Tracy Porteous answered questions from the media at BC Place Stadium on August 6th, as the CFL announced its new Policy on Violence Against Women, a policy developed in collaboration with anti-violence experts.

The CFL announcement today can be traced back to the incredible success of the Be More Than a Bystander initiative launched in 2011, EVA BC’s groundbreaking partnership with the BC Lions Football Club.
