Third Party Reporting Training in the Lower Mainland

In British Columbia, Third Party Reporting (TPR) of sexual assault is a process which allows adult survivors (19 and over) to access support and to report details of a sexual assault to police anonymously, through a community based agency. Community based agencies currently facilitating TPR in BC are those with Community Based Victim Services programs (CBVS) and a pilot group of community based agencies designated by the provincial TPR Work Team that guides the BC TPR Protocol. The goal of the training is to increase sexual assault survivors’ access to support and reporting options, including Third Party Reporting.

This training is presented by the Ending Violence Association of BC (EVA BC) program Community Coordination for Women’s Safety (CCWS) and RCMP ‘E’ (BC) Division Crime Prevention Services (CPS). Funding is provided by the BC Civil Forfeitures Office.
