On September 8, 2017, the Honourable Maryam Monsef, Minister of Status of Women and the Honourable Jody Wilson-Raybould, Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada announced $2.2 Million for gender equality projects in BC.

Tracy Porteous, Executive Director for EVA BC introduced Hon. Wilson-Raybould and opened the announcement by thanking Minister Monsef for going further than any federal government in advancing gender equality.
