Why work with us?

Working with EVA BC means being part of a small feminist and inclusive team with our sights set on responding to and preventing gender-based violence. Our staff provide support and training to frontline anti-violence workers across the province, collaborate with community partners across sectors, and lead education programs in communities to prevent gender-based violence, harassment and hate.

If you work with us you join a growing organization with a positive team-focused office in an accessible location close to transit in downtown Vancouver on the unceded territory of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.

In addition, employees are rewarded with:

  • competitive salaries
  • four weeks of vacation to start
  • extended health benefits
  • option for flex time
  • option to work from home one day a week (for full-time staff)
  • bright modern office with sit-stand desks
  • bike rack in secure tenant-only parking
  • professional development fund
  • annual staff retreat
