In February-March, EVA BC participated in the Community Engagement Initiative on the National Action Plan to End Gender-based Violence coordinated by the YWCA Canada and funded by Women and Gender Equality Canada. We consulted with our members on the key issues during a special session at our ATF which was attended by 24 people and received 76 survey responses. Our report highlights the key issues raised by our members and grounds them in our existing policy work.

We are immensely grateful to all our members who took the time to participate in this process and helped to inform our submission that will hopefully shape this landmark legislation.
