This is a unique opportunity that combines community and private practice counselling into one! We are seeking a part time counsellor (33 hours week) to deliver services in the Adult Short-term Assessment and Treatment Program and Women’s Counselling Program.
ATSAT provides counselling services to individual adults (19+) who are experiencing significant dissatisfaction and/or dysfunction in their lives. Issues may include family conflict, divorce/separation, grief and loss, transition, depression, and anxiety. The Women’s counselling Program provides trauma counselling to women who have experienced early childhood trauma, sexual abuse/assault or intimate partner violence.
Our team works closely with one another providing collegial support & case consultation.
This position is eligible for professional development, benefits, 4 weeks’ vacation and work/life balance. An option for further employment is available through paid client service work. Flexible work hours.
The successful candidate will possess:
Master’s degree in Counselling, Social Work, or related field and two years of clinical experience;
Hold membership as RCC, CCC and/or RSW.
