Finance Manager
Archway Society for Domestic Peace

Join our Leadership Team as a Finance Manager who brings both financial expertise and a collaborative, people-centered approach. In this role, you’ll partner across the organization to guide budgeting, reporting, and strategic decision-making—while fostering a culture of shared leadership, accountability, and care. Open to candidates interested in either part-time or full-time hours (28-35 hours/week)

Duties

  • Lead the organization’s financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and full-cycle accounting
  • Partner collaboratively with leadership and program teams to support planning, decision-making, and program delivery
  • Prepare and present clear, timely financial reports, forecasts, and variance analyses
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, regulatory requirements, and funder/donor restrictions
  • Oversee audit processes and liaise with external auditors and financial partners
  • Provide leadership and supervision to finance and related staff, fostering a supportive and accountable team environment
  • Oversee payroll processes and ensure accuracy, compliance, and strong internal controls
  • Contribute to strategic planning and organizational leadership, promoting a culture of financial stewardship, collaboration, and shared accountability

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Business Administration, CPA designation preferred
  • 5+ years of progressive financial management and leadership experience (non-profit preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial compliance
  • Proven ability to prepare, analyze, and communicate financial reports and insights
  • Collaborative leadership style with excellent communication skills
