EVA BC’s Community Coordination for Survivor Safety program (CCSS) recently developed a Backgrounder on Sexual Assault Coordination Initiatives. This resource is intended to give organizations an overview of sexual assault coordination, including its history, its importance, and its benefits. This resource also outlines effective sexual assault coordination development strategies and some considerations for organizations around policy-development and training in order to provide a survivor-centered, coordinated response to sexual assault. If you would like further information or support around developing, implementing, or revitalizing a sexual assault coordination initiative in your community, please contact ccss@endingviolence.org.
