Kootenai Community Centre Society (KCCS) is seeking an Executive Director, Maternity Replacement (ED) who leads while fostering a feminist culture of dignity, respect, acceptance and compassion. KCCS values inclusiveness, trauma-informed approaches, and professionalism. The candidate is a positive, collaborative professional with experience in financial and grant management, government contracts and budgets, financial report writing with experience in the non-profit sector amongst other proficiencies. Preferably 3+ years of senior level management experience, ideally in the rural, non-profit social services sector
The responsibility of the Executive Director, directly or through delegation, is to plan, organize, direct, control, administer, and oversee all activities of Kootenai Community Centre Society. These activities are to be consistent with agency bylaws, board approved budgets, policies, objectives, legal, and constitutional requirements.
Relevant postgraduate degree (Administration, Commerce, Community Studies) An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
With Board input, helps to recruit and hire KCCS staff. Also trains, supervises and evaluates all staff on yearly basis.
