Project Coordinator
Vancouver & Lower Mainland Multicultural Family Support Services

Enhancing Wellness – M4Y is a term project funded by Public Safety Canada.

The project will end March 31, 2028.

 

Job Duties:

  • In consultation with the Project Director, collaborate with the project team to meet project deliverables and timely adherence to the work plan.
  • Assist in organizing and communicating work plans, tasks, action items, scheduling.
  • Communicate any issues or risks that may arise to the project team, key stakeholders and the Advisory Committee, as needed.
  • Assist in addressing any issues or challenges that may arise that impact the work plan and deliverables. Notify and problem solve in consultation with the Project Director, Executive Director and/or Advisory Committee, as needed.
  • Collaborate with the team to facilitate the completion of project deliverables, including but not limited to: communications materials, participant recruitment, online surveys, implementation of focus groups, data gathering, research, analysis and evaluation, app development, and knowledge dissemination.
  • Coordinate and support project team in a collaborative and consistent manner through regular meetings, and ongoing communications both written and verbal.
  • Maintain efficient and timely documentation throughout the duration of the project.
  • Ensure confidentiality, anonymity  and security of data gathered throughout the project, VLMFSS organizational operations, fiscal management, and other information related to the project.
  • Assist Project Director to ensure ethical guidelines and relevant sections of the BC Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (1996 & 2021) are met.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Masters in Social Sciences and/or 2 years relevant experience in the antiviolence and settlement sectors, conducting focus groups, development and evaluation of educational modules or a combination of qualifications and relevant experience.
  • Strong verbal and written skills in English.

 

Requirement: Satisfactory Criminal Record Check

Hours: 28 hours per week starting immediately

Pay Range: $ 32.79 – 37.64 (pending JJEP evaluation) per hour depending on qualifications and experience.
