This is a unique opportunity that combines community and private practice counselling into one! We are seeking a part time (20/week) counsellor to deliver services in the Adult Short-term Assessment and Treatment Program and Women’s Counselling Program.

Our team works closely with one another providing collegial support & case consultation. This position is eligible for Extended Health Benefits which include 5 weeks’ vacation and professional development. An option for further employment is available through paid client service work. Flexible work hours to create work/life balance; in office and tele-health service delivery.

The successful candidate will possess:

• Master’s degree in Counselling, Social Work, or related field;
• two years of clinical experience;

Demonstrate the following:

• knowledge of a feminist-based perspective;
• knowledge of family violence, divorce/separation, grief and loss, transition, depression, and anxiety;
• experience facilitating groups;
• the ability to work both independently and as a team;
• excellent interpersonal, communication;
• excellent computer skills.
• knowledge of community resources;
• a valid BC Driver’s License, and satisfactory criminal record check.
