POSITION SUMMARY
The Kamloops Sexual Assault Counselling Centre (KSACC) is looking to hire a Stopping the Violence (STV) Counsellor and Community-Based Victim Services support worker. STV Counsellors provide counselling and support services to self-identified women and non-binary people ages 19 and up who have experienced sexual assault, violence/abuse in relationships, or childhood sexual abuse. CBVS support workers help clients navigate the legal system; provide resources and community referrals; and accompany people who are called to be witnessed in criminal trials. This position is based out of KSACC’s Kamloops and Logan Lake offices. This is a permanent full-time position (35 hours per week).
