This training provides information about the social context of sexual violence and the impacts of sexual violence and trauma. Practical activities are integrated throughout the training to enhance participant knowledge of survivor support strategies.
This training is offered in combination with either Third Party Reporting training and/or Sexual Assault Coordination training
This training focuses on the information necessary to develop, maintain, and support a successful sexual assault coordination initiative. Participants are facilitated through a process where they identify the strengths, challenges, and barriers in their community, and develop an action plan to meaningfully move coordination forward.
The focus of this training is on building or revitalizing and sustaining local coordination initiatives to address intimate partner violence and improve survivor safety with a collaborative approach. Participants are facilitated through a process where they identify the strengths, challenges, and barriers in their community, and develop an action plan to meaningfully move coordination forward.
The focus of this training is on how to identify and refer IPV cases to an Interagency Case Assessment Team (ICAT), IPV risk factors, ICAT process, how to share information legally and ethically, and collaborating on increasing safety through the ICAT process.
This training provides information on: the social context of sexual assault as it relates to TPR, the history of TPR including the development of the provincial protocol, reporting options, working with youth, the TPR process, and community TPR protocol development.
