Annual Training Forum 2026

September 24 & 25

Sheraton Vancouver Wall Centre

Annual Training Forum 2026 planned
for the Sheraton Vancouver Wall Centre on September 24 and 25

Save the date: EVA BC’s 2026 ATF will be September 24 and 25, 2026 at the Sheraton Vancouver Wall Centre at 1000 Burrard Street in Vancouver. Watch this space, our social media, or our newsletters for more information soon to be released.

Our theme this year is Power in Action: Collective response to the systemic crisis of gender-based violence.

Mark your calendars and plan to join us! Our two days together will feature keynote speakers, workshops, wellness sessions, and networking opportunities with a focus on responding to the systemic crisis of gender-based violence. We hope you can take part in this annual opportunity to connect with other workers from around the province and develop the knowledge, capacity, and skills that will enhance your work to support and deliver services to survivors of gender-based violence and trauma.

Call for proposals:

We have opened our call for workshop proposals. We invite proposals for workshops that will contribute to the success of our province-wide training event for anti-violence workers and community partners from across BC.

We welcome proposals from diverse perspectives on risk identification and safety planning, navigating legal systems, emerging issues in GBV and approaches to supporting survivors. We will be accepting proposals until 4:30 pm on Friday, April 3, 2026.

Keynote presentations from past ATFs:
You can view recordings of of EVA BC’s 2025 ATF keynotes and find recordings of keynote presentations from other past ATFs on EVA BC’s YouTube channel.
